Most school leavers are asked what they are doing after school. Far fewer are given space to ask who they are becoming as they leave the only life structure they have really known.
A private monthly check in for school leavers stepping into the life ahead.
Includes bonus Exam Stress Guide

Year 12 is full of visible milestones.
Exams.
Results.
Formal.
Graduation.
Applications.
Plans.
But beneath all of that, many students are also dealing with pressure, uncertainty, changing friendships, comparison, self-doubt, and the quiet question of who they are becoming beyond school.
This is the part that often does not fit neatly into a timetable, careers session, or pathways plan.

The Doorway Year is not a study planner, career guide, or transition program. It is a private monthly check in students can use in their own way. Some may write deeply. Some may circle a feeling, answer one question, or simply read the month that speaks to them.
It is designed for the quieter moments between all the advice.

The Doorway Year is a discovery calendar and journal for school leavers standing at the edge of adulthood.
It gives students space to reflect without needing perfect answers.
The Doorway Year helps school leavers pause once a month to reflect on who they are becoming beyond school. Each month explores a different part of the transition, from anxiety and pressure to friendship, courage, letting go, and possibility. The calendar also includes a bonus Exam Stress Guide for the moments when study pressure and exam nerves become louder.

Created for the student who does not have it all figured out
Month by month through the doorway year:
Each month includes a focus question, reflection prompts, a common emotional experience, a growth activity, and a simple key message to carry forward.
The Doorway Year also includes a bonus Exam Stress Guide for the moments when study pressure, exam nerves, and performance anxiety become louder. While the calendar focuses on the bigger journey of becoming, the bonus guide offers practical tools to help students steady themselves during exam periods. adolescents, as well as support for LGBTQ+ individuals and families.
The Doorway Year is designed for reflection and self awareness. It is not counselling, diagnosis, or treatment. If any question brings up feelings that feel too big, unsafe, or difficult to manage alone, students are encouraged to speak with a parent, caregiver, teacher, school counsellor, doctor, or another trusted adult.
